What is Pure Water?
It’s water in its purest form, physically processed to remove the minerals that would otherwise lead to limescale spots and streaks. Such impurities are referred to as TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and are measured in ppm (parts per million). The water is considered 100% demineralised (pure) when its TDS is measured at 0 ppm, whilst the 180 ppm is considered as average water hardness.
Deionisation (DI) filter systems such as UNGER HydroPower immediately produce 100% pure water, utilising ion exchange resin, which extracts and retains the minerals present in tap water. The resin eventually becomes saturated with minerals and requires replacement; the longevity of each resin refill depends on water hardness – the softer the water, the longer the resin will serve.
Why use pure water for cleaning?
Pure water offers superior cleaning power and results without the need for chemicals or wiping the glass, leaving glass and surfaces spot and streak free.
One Step Cleaning The tap water passes through a filter and is then fed through the hose to a brush, attached to the pole. The brush provides gentle scrubbing action, whilst pure water cleans and rinses the surface. Once cleaned, the glass dries naturally to a perfect high shine finish.
